This stubborn sunny border refused to grow anything!

So instead of wasting time (and plants )… we transformed it.

We lifted everything, gave the plants that were trying to grow a new home elsewhere in the gardenand turned this sun-trap into a low-maintenance gravel feature with sleeper edging (the washing pole can be removed when the area is being used)

Now it’s one of the best spots in the garden

Proof that sometimes the glow-up isn’t about adding more… it’s about changing the plan.
